Lue Frances Jenkins
Lue Frances Jenkins, 94, died Oct. 31, 2008, at Oktibbeha County Hospital. Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Blackjack Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Branson officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
Visitation is today from noon-6 p.m. at West Memorial Funeral Home in Starkville. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Oktibbeha County. She was a Baptist and worked as a beautician. She is survived by her sons, James Jenkins of Lafayette, La., the Rev. Willie Jenkins and Charles Jenkins, both of Starkville, and Jesse Jenkins of Atlanta; daughters, Annie Sylvia Jenkins and Mary Alice Owens ,both of Starkville, Lillie Bray of Atlanta and Sadie Gandy of Chicago; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
